Stress. It makes your heart pound, your breathing quicken and your forehead sweat. But while stress has been made into a public health enemy, new research suggests that stress may only be bad for you if you believe that to be the case.

It is then important for us to learn how to identify stress in different situations, and to develop coping strategies to help us effectively manage stress. Stress may come in different forms. Eustress, which is good, can serve to motivate us, while distress, which is negative, can cause us to fall ill. Having a good understanding of these different types of stressors and how they trigger us emotionally, can help us to gain better awareness and allow us to work around it to better serve our needs.

Details of the online workshop on this topic and others are at the link below. We encourage you to join and benefit from these sessions.
