Healthy Mind Online is a social enterprise that provides an online platform focused on mental wellness and health. The platform provides end-to-end online support to users from the comfort of their home. A professionally validated unique structured approach is used to engage users. The tools available on this site can help you understand the present status of your mental health and allows you to access various self-help tools or specialists if required. 


I am confused as to how to navigate or use the website.

You could scroll down the webpage, where you would be able to see the arrow beside the “How it works?” option, click it and you would be able to view a video that is designed to guide you on how you can access the website. 


I still feel that I need help and I have these symptoms. What do you think I should do?

Most clients in this situation tend to seek a specialist’s advice and they try to understand the beneficial options available. They also try to learn more information about their symptoms and present health status via the educational resources and forum discussions available at our site. 


Does Healthy Mind Online supply medication?

Healthy Mind Online does not supply medication online. We advise you to discuss your requirement with the specialist by messaging from our platform or during the session.


Account Registration


What are the benefits of registering as a client?

- Able to join in the community forum and post comments on the specialists opinion. 

- Store the patient assessment into the account and share with the specialist.

- Appointment booking with your preferred specialist after reading their qualifications. 

- Thought record diary for you to express your feelings securely.


I have not received any registration email from Healthy Mind Online.

I think I need help. What should I do?

The first step that you could take is to utilize the available assessment. Once you have completed the assessment, you might have an idea about the current situation and if you would need a specialist intervention. 


I did the anonymous/self-assessment, but it was not saved.

To save the self-assessment score, at the end of the assessment you will need to scroll down and click the "Save Score" button. 


I have done the anonymous/self-assessment. How can I send the specialist my anonymous/self-assessment? 

Once you are logged in to your account, click on Specialist Booking -> Specialist Tele/Video Booking. Select the intended specialist Full Profile. Click on "Send Self-Assessment". You can send the self-assessment without booking an appointment also.


Specialist Appointment


How do I book an appointment? 

Step 1 - Once you have logged in, you could click the “Message Specialist” tab and you would be able to view the available specialists. Below the preferred specialist picture, you would be able to find the tab for the specialist’s full profile, as well as the option to message him/her. 


Step 2 - You may click the “profile” tab, which would lead you to the page where you could select whether to send your completed assessment, or to book the specialist appointment.


Step 3 – Once you have selected the “Book an appointment” tab, you will be led to a page where you can view the available dates and time, specialist charges, options to either opt for a phone or video discussion. 


Step 4 – After you have decided and submitted the options, you would be transferred to the PayPal page, where you would be able to make payment for the selected appointment. 


Step 5: You could scroll down the webpage, where you would be able to see the arrow beside the “How it works?” option, click it and you would be able to view a video that is designed to guide you on how you can access the website.


How do I check my appointment details?

After logging in, you would be able to click on the “Account” tab above your name, at the top right hand side of the homepage. Click it and it will bring you to the page where you will see an option labelled “manage appointments”. Click it and you would be led to the next page where you can see your appointment status, post reviews, or click “Appointment & Messaging”. The “Appointment & Messaging” option will display the full details of your appointment.


I noticed that the specialists in the website are not all local. So how do I know what time to book? Do I book according to my local country time or the specialist’s country time?

The time slots shown to you would be based on local country time zone (i.e. country selected in your account while registering). When you have booked the preferred time slot, it would be shown to the Specialist according to their country’s timing. Therefore you would not be required to select your time slot according to the Specialist’s country time. 


I also saw that some time slots are missing, why can’t I book during those times? 

The time slots that do not appear are indicating that either the Specialist is unavailable during that time, or an appointment has being selected for that time slot prior to you. 


What if my session lasts longer than an hour but lesser than an additional hour? Do I have to pay for a full additional hour? 

Usually the client would pay for the additional minutes of the session when it exceeds the appointment duration; however the specialist would be able to clarify better on this issue as different specialists would have different criteria.


What are the usual appointment durations? 

Generally the first session would be for 60 minutes. The repeat sessions may be for 60 minutes or 30 minutes depending on the Specialist’s judgement. Per minute session should be booked after discussing with the Specialist. 


How do I start my appointment with the specialist?

When you log into your account, you can click on the ‘Manage Appointments’ option, which will show you all the booked appointments you have made. Please click the audio/video link to enter the conference session. Alternatively, you could also click the meeting link provided in the email sent to you for the meeting.


I am comfortable in doing face-to-face session with the specialist. May I know where will be the location? 

Once you have booked a face-to-face session through our platform, the specialist will message the location to you on our platform.




I do not have a credit card, so how can I make a payment?

Payments are made through PayPal. PayPal allows you to make payment by opening an account with them, where you can transfer money from your bank. We would suggest you to go to the PayPal website to have more accurate information on how to make payments without credit cards. 


Will there be any receipts for my payment?

You will receive the payment receipt to Healthy Mind Online from PayPal when you pay online for the session. You can request the specialist for the invoice if required.

Where can I find the available specialists?

You could scroll down to the ‘Prominent Specialist’ section from the homepage and click the ‘Browse all Specialist’ button to view all of the available Specialists. You could also use the ‘Search’ field on the left hand side of the page to shortlist Specialists based on your requirement. 


Where can I find details about a specific specialist?

You could click the “Message Specialist” tab and you would be able to view the available specialists. Below the preferred specialist picture, you would be able to find the tab for the specialist’s full profile, as well as the option to message him/her.


Am I able to send direct messages to the specialist without logging in?

In order for clients to send direct message to the specialist, you will need to login so that the specialist is able to respond to the sender. The messaging service is free!


I spoke to my specialist, but he was not able to solve my issue. What can I do?

You could message the specialist to discuss over this matter. As the specialist has more information over the issue at hand, he would be better able to advise you or suggest alternative actions. If you are still not satisfied, please feel free to reach out to us. 


How I can be sure that the Specialists are legitimate? 

The specialists' qualifications, certifications and memberships can be found under their profile information. These certifications show the legitimacy of the specialists' practices. The specialists are required to complete an assessment questionnaire to make them aware of the requirements for online sessions.




Where can I ask mental health related questions or learn of other people’s experiences and tips on mental health issues?

There is a community forum where one may ask, answer or discuss the mental health topics preferred. To use this function, you could click on the “Education” tab found on the top on the homepage, and the select “Community Forum”. It will bring to you to the forum page where you can select and participate in the preferred discussions.


Are there any informational details on mental health issues in this site?

Yes. You could click on the “Education” tab found on the top on the homepage, and the select “Specialist Opinion”. Then you would be able to find blog articles on various mental health topics, written by the specialists.


Refund Policy


I paid for my appointment but the specialist is not available, do I get a refund?

Based on our refund policy, if the specialist cannot accommodate the appointment request, the fees will be automatically refunded to you within 2 working days. 


If I booked for an hour, but I have to leave after 30 mins due to an emergency? Do I get a refund?

You may discuss this with the specialist and come up with the decision. If both parties can't reach an agreement, you can send us an email at himanshu@healthymindonline.com




Is there a smartphone app for HMO?

At the moment there are no smartphone apps, but we have a responsive website. Thus, we have an equally easy way to access the website from your mobile phone by adding an icon on your home screen. You can open a new browser and type in www.healthymindonline.com at the address bar. You are encouraged to, “Add to home screen” or “Add shortcut on Homepage”. This way, you will be able to access the website by clicking the icon in your mobile home screen for easier access.

What is Zoom? 

Zoom is the video conferencing application, which is used by both clients and specialists to communicate after booking the appointment. It has end-to-end encryption for confidentiality purposes.

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browser remains private and secure. We also adhere to government privacy guidelines.
