To strengthen resilience during recovery, it is necessary to have a care plan in place. Triggers should be avoided as much as possible, coping strategies should be developed, always dwell on positivity and constantly bear in mind that every setback is a setup for a comeback. Be open to seek help from a network of support system which is very important.

Ultimately Resilience is the realisation that life is not perfect but what you do is what you get. My dad's teaching of hard work. His theory is the char kway teow uncle drive Mercedes. Education is not the only thing that ensures success. We need a go-getter attitude.

To strengthen resilience, interestingly, Resilience is never mentioned in my era or my parent's era. I did a study because we were occupied with survival. Really basic survival. Housing, education, money to pay the bills. etc. Now how do we turn the clock back? we don't and we can't but we can stop painting such an ideal picture of a job, family, education, lifestyle. But bring back more EQ training at playground rather than IQ training at tuition centre. to be continued...

Take med (for some), watch out for symptoms (worsen?), be with positive people, do positive activities and stay close connected with friends and family members. And lastly for me, a religion to stay on the right healing path.

Live one day at a time. Go do something enjoyable every day even though you may not feel up to it. Exercise and eat healthy.

during the recovery process, watch out for worsening symptoms, we should progress positively in recovery, however should symptoms worsens, pay attention and apply coping strategies and methods, work together with family members and clinical professionals to prevent a relapse at all cost.
